What is bridgeNumber?

Stores the count of active bridges on this device, with a valid range from 0 to 999 bridges. Engineers reference this to understand how many bridging segments the device is managing and to plan network topology changes. A value of 5 means the device is currently configured with 5 active bridges, each potentially connecting different network segments.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.8.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::bridgeNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.8.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::bridgeNumber.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.8.1.4.1 i <value>
