What is atmVnnT398?

This OID stores the T398 timer value in seconds, which is a network-side timeout used during the status enquiry procedure to detect stale or unresponsive connections. Network engineers tune this timer to help the ATM switch clean up connections that have become orphaned or stuck without impacting active traffic. With T398 set to 30 seconds, the network will periodically check connection status and clear any that don't respond within 30 seconds.
