What is atmVnnT308?
This OID stores the T308 timer value in seconds, which controls the ATM signaling timeout when waiting for an ACK (acknowledgment) message during connection release. Network engineers adjust this to ensure graceful connection teardown; too short and connections fail to close properly, too long and failed connections linger. A T308 value of 5 seconds tells the system to wait 5 seconds for release confirmation before forcefully terminating the connection.
