atmVnnSvcMinVpi

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmVnnSvcMinVpi

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.17.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The lower bound of the VPI for SVC connections.

What is atmVnnSvcMinVpi?

This OID stores the lowest Virtual Path Identifier available for allocation to new SVC connections, configurable from 0 to 255. Engineers set this to avoid collisions with reserved VPIs such as VPI 0 (commonly reserved for signaling and management). Setting this to 10 reserves VPIs 0-9 for other purposes and starts allocating SVCs from VPI 10 onward.
