Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmVnnSvcMinVci

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The lower bound of the VCI for SVC connections.

What is atmVnnSvcMinVci?

This OID stores the lowest Virtual Circuit Identifier available for allocation to new SVC connections, with values from 0 to 65535. Engineers set this to reserve low-numbered VCIs for permanent connections and management, preventing conflicts with SVC allocations. Setting this to 32 reserves circuits 0-31 for other uses and makes SVC circuits start at VCI 32.
