What is atmVnnSvcMaxVci?
This OID stores the maximum Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) that can be allocated for Switched Virtual Circuit (SVC) connections on the ATM UNI interface, ranging from 0 to 65,535. Network engineers configure this to control how many SVC channels the equipment can support and to prevent VCI collisions when multiple systems share the same interface. Setting this to 32,000 means the system will never assign VCI numbers higher than 32,000 to new SVC connections, reserving the higher numbers for permanent circuits.
