atmVnnAddrType

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmVnnAddrType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.17.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: atm address type

What is atmVnnAddrType?

This OID controls the type of ATM address format used on the switch, with options typically including E.164, NSAP, or other formats. The address type must match the network's addressing plan; using the wrong format prevents proper address resolution and call routing across the ATM network. Setting this to 'NSAP' means all switch addresses follow the Network Service Access Point format, standard in private ATM networks.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.17.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmVnnAddrType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.17.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmVnnAddrType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.17.1.2.1 i <value>
