atmUniSvcMinVpi

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmUniSvcMinVpi

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The lower bound of the VPI for SVC connections.

What is atmUniSvcMinVpi?

This OID sets the lowest Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) value that can be used for SVC (Switched Virtual Connections) on the UNI, with values ranging from 0 to 255. Network engineers use this to reserve lower VPI numbers for permanent virtual paths while allowing higher numbers for dynamic connections. For example, setting to 16 reserves VPIs 0-15 for PVCs and allows SVCs to be allocated starting at VPI 16.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmUniSvcMinVpi

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmUniSvcMinVpi.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.3.1 i <value>
