What is atmUniSvcMaxVci?
This OID sets the highest Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) value that can be assigned to an SVC on the UNI, capping the dynamic allocation range. Network engineers use this to constrain the SVC namespace and ensure predictable behavior across the ATM network. For example, setting to 65000 prevents new SVCs from using VCIs above 65000, keeping a small reserve of VCIs for emergency or special use.
