Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmUniIntfType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.40

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: atm interface type

What is atmUniIntfType?

This OID specifies whether the ATM interface operates as a UNI (User-Network Interface) or NNI (Network-Network Interface), which determines the signaling protocol and connection handling. Network engineers must set this correctly during initial configuration to match the physical role of the port in the network. For example, setting it to 1 (UNI) configures the port to act as a user endpoint connecting to an ATM network.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.40
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmUniIntfType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.40.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmUniIntfType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.1.1.40.1 i <value>
