What is atmPvcVccType?

This OID specifies the connection type for the ATM permanent virtual circuit, such as point-to-point or point-to-multipoint. A network engineer configures this when creating a new circuit to define how traffic flows between endpoints. For example, setting the type to point-to-point means one side sends data that only the other side receives, versus a point-to-multipoint circuit where one sender delivers to multiple receivers.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.6.1.1.20
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPvcVccType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.6.1.1.20.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPvcVccType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.6.1.1.20.1 i <value>
