Description: Traffic Shaping Support in the A2B direction.

What is atmPvcVccTrafficShapingA2B?

This read-write OID enables or disables traffic shaping (rate limiting) for traffic flowing from A to B, controlling whether the ATM switch will police data rates. You enable traffic shaping to prevent a single customer or application from consuming all available bandwidth and starving other virtual circuits. Setting this to 1 (enabled) ensures A-to-B traffic respects the configured maximum cell rate and doesn't monopolize the link.
