atmPnniVpiSig

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmPnniVpiSig

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.55

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: VPI value for the signalling channel for the PNNI interface.

What is atmPnniVpiSig?

This OID specifies the Virtual Path Identifier (0-4095) that is reserved for ATM signaling traffic on this interface. Network engineers configure this to dedicate a specific VPI channel to control plane messages, keeping them separate from data traffic. A standard value of 0 reserves VPI 0 exclusively for signaling, following ATM convention.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.55
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPnniVpiSig

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.55.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPnniVpiSig.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.55.1 i <value>
