What is atmPnniT317?
This timer (in seconds) sets the timeout for the PNNI interface when waiting for a release acknowledgment after initiating teardown of an ATM call. Engineers adjust this to ensure that failed release attempts don't hang indefinitely and allow cleanup procedures to proceed. For example, setting it to 8 means the interface waits 8 seconds for the other side to acknowledge the call termination.
