Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::atmPnniRemoteSvcMaxVpi

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.63

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The Upper bound of the actual VPI for SVC connections.

What is atmPnniRemoteSvcMaxVpi?

This OID stores the upper limit of Virtual Path Identifiers (VPIs) that can be used for SVC connections to remote PNNI peers, with a range of 0 to 4095. Network engineers need to know this limit to understand the PNNI interface's capacity and ensure they don't attempt to allocate more VPIs than the switch supports. If this value is 4095, it means SVC connections can use any VPI from 0 to 4095 when communicating with remote peers.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPnniRemoteSvcMaxVpi

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.16.1.63.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::atmPnniRemoteSvcMaxVpi.1
