What is atmImaFeRxDefect?
ACMIB::atmImaFeRxDefect is a read-only field displaying the far-end (remote) receive defect status, showing what problems the distant equipment is reporting on its receive side. This is communicated back to your device through IMA status frames and helps you distinguish between local and remote failures. For example, if your near-end has 'noDefect' but the far-end shows 'linkFailure', the remote router has lost its signal path and you should check that device's optical interfaces.
