Description: This flag indicates if this switch is an ATM ARP server.
What is atmArpServer?
This OID stores a flag (integer 0 or 1) indicating whether this switch functions as an ATM ARP server for resolving ATM addresses to IP addresses. A network engineer needs to configure this to designate which switch in the ATM network handles ARP lookups for the entire fabric. Setting it to 1 enables this switch to respond to ARP requests from other devices; setting it to 0 means this switch queries a remote ARP server instead.
