Description:

specifies value for Packet Size Negotiation Facility (power of 2 between 16 and 1024), or zero if Packet Size Negotiation Facility is not to be used.

What is accX25PktNegot?

This setting specifies the desired X.25 packet size (a power of 2 between 16 and 1024 bytes), or 0 to use the default without negotiation. Network engineers tune this based on traffic type: larger packets (512 or 1024) maximize throughput for bulk data; smaller packets (64 or 128) reduce latency for interactive traffic. A value of 256 requests 256-byte packets during X.25 call setup; a value of 0 means 'accept whatever the far-end device offers.'
