accX25MaxBackoff
Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accX25MaxBackoff
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.18
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Maximum backoff time (seconds) to delay between subsequent attempts to open additional virtual circuits to the same destination. The actual delay is varied exponentially from accX25InitBackoff up to this value.
What is accX25MaxBackoff?
This integer sets the maximum delay in seconds that the device will wait between retry attempts when trying to open a virtual circuit that keeps failing. The retry delay increases exponentially from the initial backoff up to this maximum to avoid overwhelming the network. A maximum of 300 seconds means that even after many failures, the device won't wait longer than 5 minutes between retries.
