Description:

Initial backoff time (seconds) to delay before next attempt to open an additional virtual circuit to the same destination when an attempt to do so has failed.

What is accX25InitBackoff?

This integer specifies the initial delay in seconds before the device retries opening a switched virtual circuit after an open request fails. Network engineers set this to avoid hammering the X.25 network with rapid repeated attempts when something is wrong. An initial backoff of 5 means the device waits 5 seconds before the first retry after a failed circuit setup.
