accX25IdleScale

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accX25IdleScale

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeTicks

Access: read-write

Description:

scale factor for idle timeout: a circuit will be cleared when it has been idle for accX25IdleMin plus accX25IdleScale times the number of available circuits.

What is accX25IdleScale?

This TimeTicks value is a scaling factor that adjusts idle timeout based on how many circuits are currently active, adding accX25IdleMin plus this scale factor multiplied by available circuits. Network engineers use this to dynamically manage timeout behavior—when many circuits are open, you allow longer idle times before closing. A scale factor of 600 adds 6 seconds to the idle timeout for each available circuit.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accX25IdleScale

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accX25IdleScale.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.11.1 i <value>
