Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accX25IdleMin
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TimeTicks
Access: read-write
Description:
minimum idle time for closing circuits; a circuit will not be cleared until it has been idle (no data has been sent or received) for at least this amount of time.
What is accX25IdleMin?
This TimeTicks value (in 1/100 second units) sets the minimum idle time that must pass before the device will even consider closing an X.25 virtual circuit. Network engineers configure this to prevent circuits from dropping due to brief traffic pauses, avoiding expensive reconnection delays. A setting of 6000 means the circuit must be idle for at least 60 seconds before the device can close it.
