accX25ExtendSeq

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accX25ExtendSeq

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Use of extended sequence numbers

What is accX25ExtendSeq?

This boolean integer setting enables extended sequence numbers for X.25 packets, which allows tracking up to 128 packets instead of just 8. Network engineers enable this on high-speed or long-latency links where you need to have more packets in flight simultaneously to achieve good throughput. A value of 1 turns it on for better performance on slower, distant circuits.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.8
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accX25ExtendSeq

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accX25ExtendSeq.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.17.3.1.8.1 i <value>
