Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accStpPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.2.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Among all devices participating in spanning tree, the one with the highest priority (numerically lowest value of this parameter) is elected as the Root of the spanning tree.
What is accStpPriority?
ACC-MIB::accStpPriority sets this bridge's priority in Spanning Tree elections, with a range of 0 to 255 where lower values win. Engineers adjust this to prefer certain bridges as the network root bridge or to influence how traffic flows through redundant paths. For example, setting this to 0 makes this bridge almost certain to be elected root, while 255 makes it very unlikely.
