What is accSrStpPortPathCost?
This OID sets the path cost metric (0 to 65535) assigned to an individual port, which influences how STP calculates the best path to the root. Network engineers adjust this to manually prefer or deprioritize certain links based on bandwidth or reliability; lower costs mean higher priority. For example, setting a fast 1Gbps link to cost 10 and a slow WAN link to cost 100 ensures STP prefers the fast local link unless it fails.
