Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accSrFiltIIEntSrcMacAddrMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.25.13.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description:

Source MAC Address Mask for the Filtering entry. The mask is ANDed with the Source address to determine that part of the MAC address which is used in the filtering decision.

What is accSrFiltIIEntSrcMacAddrMask?

This OID stores a 6-byte bitmask that is applied to source MAC addresses during bridge filtering. A network engineer uses this mask to define which portions of incoming source MAC addresses are examined during filter evaluation. For example, 0xFFFFFFFFFFFF checks all six bytes, while 0x000000FFFFFF checks only the last three bytes to match on vendor prefixes.

Examples
