What is accRipInRspCnts?

This read-only counter tracks the total number of RIP response packets (routing updates containing network information) successfully received by your device. Network engineers use this to verify that neighboring routers are continuously sending routing information, and a plateau in this counter indicates routing communication has stalled. A steady increase like 100 packets per minute confirms active RIP neighbor communication; if it stops climbing, a neighbor has likely disconnected.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accRipInRspCnts

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accRipInRspCnts.1
