What is accPppLinkLocalToRemotePC?

This flag indicates whether protocol field compression is enabled for frames we send to the remote device (1 = enabled, 0 = disabled). Network engineers enable this to reduce frame overhead and improve bandwidth efficiency on slow links. For example, a value of 1 saves 1 byte per frame by omitting the protocol field when possible; on a 64k link with many small packets, this noticeably improves throughput.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.32.1.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accPppLinkLocalToRemotePC

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.32.1.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accPppLinkLocalToRemotePC.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accPppLinkLocalToRemotePC.1
