Description:

What is accPppLcpRestartTimer?

This OID specifies the timeout in seconds (1-3600) that your device waits between sending a request and expecting a reply from the remote PPP endpoint. If no reply arrives within this time, the device will retry the request. You adjust this on high-latency links (satellites, WAN circuits) where round-trip time exceeds the default, preventing the device from giving up too quickly and treating a slow-but-working link as failed. For example, setting this to 60 seconds instead of the default 3 means you're allowing a full minute for the remote device to acknowledge an LCP configuration request.
