Description:
The IP compression protocol that the remote PPP-IP entity uses when sending packets to the local PPP-IP entity.
What is accPppIpcpRemoteToLocalCompressionProtocol?
This OID stores which compression method the remote device applies to packets it sends back to the local device over PPP. Engineers monitor this to verify that compression is working in both directions and to understand expected bandwidth savings on incoming traffic. A value of DEFLATE means the remote side is using DEFLATE compression for packets heading toward the local device.
