Description: If false then the local PPP Entity will not initiate a Remote Ring Identification Option negotiation. If true then the local PPP entity will intiate this negotiation. This MIB object is relevant only if the interface is for 802.5 Token Ring bridging.
What is accPppBncpConfigRingId?
This read-write OID controls whether the local device will negotiate Token Ring ring identification across the PPP link (true or false). This parameter is only relevant for Token Ring bridging environments where ring IDs must be preserved for proper bridge operation. Setting this to true(2) enables ring ID tracking on a Token Ring-to-Token Ring PPP bridge.
