Description: If false then the local PPP Entity is not to initiate a Line Identification Option negotiation. If true then the local PPP entity will intiate this negotiation. This MIB object is relevant only if the interface is for 802.5 Token Ring bridging.
What is accPppBncpConfigLineId?
This read-write OID controls whether the local device will negotiate Token Ring line identification across the PPP link (true or false). This setting only applies to Token Ring bridging where line identification supports bridge learning and proper frame forwarding. Setting this to true(2) activates line ID negotiation for Token Ring bridge compatibility.
