accMlAdminStatus

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accMlAdminStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.9.2.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Status of load sharing capability. In those systems which support the accSlotProtocol object, the protocol must be set to HDLC for both ports.

What is accMlAdminStatus?

This read-write integer controls whether load sharing (traffic balancing) is enabled across the multilink group's physical ports, typically requiring HDLC protocol on both endpoints. Network engineers enable this to distribute traffic across redundant links for better throughput, or disable it to use the multilink purely for failover. Setting this to 1 activates load sharing mode, so traffic is split across all active physical ports instead of using a primary-backup model.
