Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accMemPoolAllocs
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter
Access: read-only
Description: The number of allocation requests addressed to this memory pool.
What is accMemPoolAllocs?
ACC-MIB::accMemPoolAllocs is a counter that tracks the total number of memory allocation requests made to this pool since reboot. Engineers use this to baseline typical memory activity and spot unusual allocation patterns that might indicate a memory leak or attack. For example, a value of 50000 means the pool has handled 50,000 allocation requests.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accMemPoolAllocs
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accMemPoolAllocs.1
