What is accLapbType?

This read-write configuration determines whether the LAPB interface acts as DTE (data terminal, value 0) or DCE (network node, value 1). An engineer configures this based on the physical role the port plays in the network—terminals act as DTE and communicate with network nodes configured as DCE. Setting this to 0 configures the port as a DTE, making it act like a terminal waiting for a network connection.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accLapbType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accLapbType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.2.1 i <value>
