accLapbFrameWindow

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accLapbFrameWindow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

LAPB frame window. If a value greater than 7 is specified, modulo-128 sequencing is used instead of modulo-8 sequencing.

What is accLapbFrameWindow?

This controls the LAPB frame window size (1-127), which determines how many frames can remain unacknowledged before the sender must wait. If set above 7, it uses modulo-128 sequencing for longer sequence numbers; values of 7 or below use modulo-8 sequencing. Network engineers adjust this to balance throughput against buffer memory availability and link latency. Example: setting to 4 allows only 4 frames outstanding at once, while 64 permits 64 simultaneous unacknowledged frames for higher-speed links.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accLapbFrameWindow

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accLapbFrameWindow.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.5.1 i <value>
