This counter counts failed link recovery attempts where a frame was retransmitted N200 times (typically 3) without a successful acknowledgment, forcing the link down. Seeing high numbers indicates persistent link problems like noise, collisions, or an unresponsive peer that prevents reliable communication. A value of 6 means the link recovery mechanism failed 6 times, degrading call setup reliability.
