The particular type of central-office switch providing access to the ISDN network and to which this subscriber interface is connected.

What is accIsdnSubSwitchType?

This read-write enumerated value specifies which type of central office switch (such as AT&T 5ESS, Northern Telecom DMS-100, or Siemens EWSD) provides ISDN service to this interface. Engineers configure this setting during ISDN setup to match their carrier's equipment so the device sends correct signaling. Setting it to '5ESS' tells the device to use signaling compatible with AT&T switches.
