What is accIsdnStatHdlcOutOctets?
This counter tracks the total number of bytes (octets) that have been sent out through the D-channel of an ISDN interface, which is the control signaling channel. A network engineer would monitor this to understand the volume of outgoing control traffic and to ensure the D-channel is functioning properly. For example, a value of 5,234,000 bytes means the interface has transmitted about 5 megabytes of control signaling data since the counter was reset.
