The default behavior taken on locally originated (hop count <= 2) Service Advertisements. Remote advertisements must be identified individually.

What is accIpxSapFltrDefault?

This OID sets the default action for Service Advertisement Protocol (SAP) packets that originate locally (within 2 hops) on an IPX network. Network engineers configure this to avoid flooding the WAN with SAP announcements while allowing remote SAP entries to be handled individually. Setting this to 'discard' drops all local service advertisements automatically, reducing WAN bandwidth for remote offices.
