What is accIpxRtType?

ACC-MIB::accIpxRtType indicates whether the route is static (manually configured), dynamic (learned from a routing protocol), or direct, shown as a read-only integer. Network engineers check this to understand how routes are managed and to identify if unexpected routes have been introduced into the network. For example, a value might indicate a dynamic route learned through RIP, versus a static route manually added by the administrator.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.22.3.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accIpxRtType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.22.3.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accIpxRtType.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accIpxRtType.1
