The number of packets received on this port which were discarded because they were too long.

What is accIpxPortTooLongs?

This counter counts packets received on this port that exceeded the maximum allowed IPX packet size (exceeding the configured MTU) and were discarded. Engineers track this to identify when applications or devices are generating oversized packets that cannot traverse the network path due to MTU restrictions. For example, a counter value of 100 means 100 jumbo-sized packets were dropped, and the sending system needs its MTU tuned or fragmentation enabled.
