Description:

X25 packet window

What is accIpxNetX25PktWin?

This stores the X.25 packet window size (0 to 127), which is the number of unacknowledged packets the device can send before waiting for a response. Network engineers tune this to optimize throughput on high-latency X.25 circuits; larger windows improve performance but require more memory, while smaller windows are safer on unreliable links. A value of 4 is conservative; 127 maximizes pipelining on stable, high-latency connections.
