What is accIpxNetWdState?
ACC-MIB::accIpxNetWdState controls the IPX watchdog state, determining whether keepalive messages are allowed to pass through or are handled locally by the router. Network engineers adjust this setting based on link type because watchdog messages can consume bandwidth on slow connections like dial-up, but are essential on faster LAN links. For example, setting this to PROXY on a dial-up connection makes the router respond to watchdog messages locally instead of forwarding them across the slow link.
