What is accIpxNetCost?

This stores a cost metric used by routing protocols to prefer certain paths over others when multiple routes to the same destination exist. Operators adjust this to influence traffic engineering, directing packets toward fast links (low cost) and away from congested or expensive circuits (high cost). A cost of 1 represents a fast local Ethernet link; 100 represents a slow serial line, making routers prefer the Ethernet.
