accIpSrcRouting
Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accIpSrcRouting
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.18.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Source Routing mode
What is accIpSrcRouting?
This OID controls whether IP source routing (where senders specify the packet path) is enabled or disabled on the device. Network engineers configure this to restrict source routing because it is a security risk that can bypass normal routing controls. Setting this to 0 disables source routing entirely, while 1 might restrict it to trusted networks only.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.18.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accIpSrcRouting
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.18.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accIpSrcRouting.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.18.1.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accIpSrcRouting.1
