This read-only OID shows which IP protocol number (TCP=6, UDP=17, ICMP=1, etc.) a filter is configured to match, with valid values from 0 to 255. Administrators review this during troubleshooting to confirm filters are targeting the correct protocols for their intended traffic control purpose. A value of 6 represents TCP, allowing the filter to be protocol-specific.
