accFrDlcmiIdleTimer
Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accFrDlcmiIdleTimer
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Number of minutes without receiving any non-dlcmi frames before declaring the link idle. Setting the timer to 0 will disable it.
What is accFrDlcmiIdleTimer?
This timer (0 to 255 minutes) specifies how long the circuit can remain silent (without regular data traffic) before the device marks it as idle. Network engineers use this to detect potentially broken circuits that still pass DLCMI control frames, helping distinguish between dead links and quiet ones. Setting this to 5 minutes means 5 minutes of data silence marks the circuit idle, useful for monitoring link utilization.
