accExtProtImpAllowed

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accExtProtImpAllowed

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.35.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

What is accExtProtImpAllowed?

This read-write enumerated value controls which protocols are permitted to be implemented or activated on an external protocol interface. Engineers use this to restrict certain protocol families (like preventing AppleTalk when only TCP/IP is needed) to reduce overhead. Setting this to 'TCP/IP-only' prevents legacy protocols from loading and consuming system resources.
