accCompressDialStatAvgCompOut

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accCompressDialStatAvgCompOut

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.6.4.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-only

Description:

The average compression rate of packets presented for compression expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100. 100% is the unattainable rate which could only be achieved by compressing all packets to zero bits.

What is accCompressDialStatAvgCompOut?

This gauge shows the average compression ratio for outgoing data as a percentage, indicating how much of the original size remains after compression. Engineers use this to decide whether compression should be enabled and to track compression effectiveness over time. A reading of 20% means your outgoing packets are compressed to just one-fifth of their original size.
